Dr. Clawson has extensive experience as an evaluator for prevention, intervention, and enrichment programs for at-risk children and youth. She brings 20+ years of experience in program evaluation and evaluation training and technical assistance to government agencies, foundations, and non-profit organizations. Dr. Clawson is the Vice President for Insights and Innovation at Communities In Schools. In this role, she oversees the execution of a research agenda designed to improve quality and impact of the CIS Model of Integrated Student Supports. Additionally, she oversees a team responsible for a network-wide data system, translation of insights from research into practice, and the identification of priorities for professional development. Dr. Clawson also oversees implementation and day-to-day management of the Innovation Lab (InLab); ensuring adherence to the primary purpose of the InLab—to develop, test, and create products and services that increase the value of Integrated Student Supports by helping drive greater efficiencies and impact and reaching more students across the country. Dr. Clawson received her doctorate in social psychology from the University of Nevada Reno.
