Thomas L. Brazil, certified in Innovation Management by the IAOIP, joined Integrated Computer Solutions (ICS), Inc., as their Chief Digital Officer in 2016, and is also the Chief Innovation Officer and Innovation Council co-chair (along with Langdon Morris of InnovationLabs) of the ICS Joint Venture, Red Team Engineering (RTE). He invented the Functional Value of Innovation (FVOI) algorithm, discussed in his upcoming book “Implementing the Agile Innovation Master Plan Framework”, to provide an objective, unbiased and automated means of prototype evaluations. Thomas is currently undergoing the IAOIP Certified Chief Innovation Officer certification process. Prior to joining ICS, he served as Corporate Fellow and Chief Architect at Axway, wearing additional simultaneous hats as an Analytics Product Line Director, Product Manager and R&D Manger for Business Activity Monitoring platforms and solutions. While at Axway, he also led its "Analytics for Industries" initiative to address supply chain, financial services and health-care analytics needs related to actionable insight. Axway acquired Systar in 2014 where he worked for 21 years leading the technical innovation team and research and development teams for several innovative product lines, in addition to his role as Fellow and Corporate Expert. His functional, analytical and marketing skills have made him a sought after high-level consultant for industries such as financial services, health-care and supply chain. He has provided consulting for 10 of the top 15 financial institutions in the world and numerous Fortune 100 firms in industries related to logistics, telecommunications and financial markets.
